1st Annual 2005 Julian Brown Memorial Cup The Charlotte United Futbol Club family tragically lost one of it's own on April 25, 2004, when Julian Brown became the second American youth player to die from a bus accident in France. No words can fully express the sorrow experienced by our Club. Brown, a midfielder, was critically injured when the bus carrying the under-14 North Carolina Olympic Development team crashed into a ditch April 18 in Paris. |
