While
this “History” page of the CASL 86 Elite site is under
construction, below is a personal note from your manager
Donna Langdon:
“It is very important to me to recognize
a few people that have helped me tremendously on the
(CASL 86) Elite the last few years. I think the players
should remember these parents and coaches as part of
the success of the team.”
- “Cindy Brown has been our Treasurer, forever. I
don't think anyone ever realizes how big of a job
this one is, especially as much as the Elite have
done over the years. She has handled thousands of
dollars for us and has been a major part of our successful
operation, as well as a great planner, advisor and
friend”;
- “Becky Evans: for many contributions, including
keeping our players in clothes all these years. She
has handled ordering and upkeep of the uniforms which
has been a big job for this group, year round. Also,
for being one of my trusted advisors on team functions,
and a great friend”;
- “Ron Knott: for taking some awesome pictures the
last few years. I think he has developed a new career
through his hobby; he does such a great job”;
- “Jay Brown, Randy McNeely, Tom Clayton and JoAnn
Favitta: for always being there for me and doing the
small things that matter the most. Driving the vans,
running to Sams for team food, Gatorade, water, and
Snickers, chaperoning, and never complaining”;
- “Mike Schilawski: for taking care of our Medical
Kit and hauling it all over the country. We have had
our medical scissors taken at the airport many times”;
- “To each and every family for those hours and hours
of volunteer duty in the cold, the rain and the heat,
for CASL, for SYL, the Shootout and State Cup”;
- “To the 86 Elite Coaches”:
- U11 Marlow Campbell
- U12 Ed Pinion
- U13 Mike Moltzon / Bruce Talbot
- U14 Bruce Talbot
- U15 Bruce Talbot
- U16 Carlos Somoano
- U17 Carlos Somoano
- U18 Bruce Talbot
“And, to my family for making the
sacrifice for me to do a job I have truly loved and
enjoyed”.
Sincerely, Donna Langdon – Manager
for CASL 86 Elite
